- Do I need to play an instrument?
- No. Songcopy is about lyrics, structure, and form — done by hand on paper. If you do play, you'll get even more out of it, but it isn't required.
- Do I need to read music?
- No. We use chord symbols (G, Am, C7) and lyric sheets, not staff notation.
- How much time per week?
- 25 to 45 minutes. One sitting. Pour a coffee, put the song on, and write.
- When does it start?
- Lessons go out every Monday. When you enroll, you get the next Monday's first lesson.
- What if I fall behind?
- Lessons are yours forever. Skip a week, double up the next, or finish months later. The pace is yours.
- Refund policy?
- Full refund any time before week two lands. After that, you've seen too much.
- Will there be more courses?
- Yes — this is the flagship. More focused courses (the country songbook, the modern pop bridge, co-writing) are coming.
